Lance Burton discussed the plans for the show. “Lance Burton and Friends will be completely different from my other shows at the Monte Carlo, the Hacienda, or even back at the Tropicana.”

SZ: “How different? Is your show going to be a surprise or can I tell everyone?

Lance, “I do half of the Lance Burton and Friends” show and the other half are my friends who perform magic, comedy, and juggling. I have been performing these illusions for many years kind of like my greatest hits.”

SZ: “Call it, “The Best of Lance Burton! Could you name your friends appearing in the show?”

Lance, “My long time guest star who people saw in my show, Michael Goudeau, Fielding West, and my buddy from Iowa, Keith with the “Illusioneers, and a portion of the proceeds is going to Variety, the Children’s Charity.”

SZ: “You have a big show with you and all of the other stars performing!”

Lance, “We are going to have fun this Thanksgiving weekend. Wednesday, a movie I produced, “Billy Top It”, is airing 8-10 pm, on Channel #21, on Las Vegas TV, Channel #21, Cox cable, Channel #12.

On Thanksgiving, everybody has a little turkey. The next 2 days, November 23 and 24, we have my shows!

I will also be the Grand Marshall on the Great Santa Run for Opportunity Village, Dec 1.”

SZ: “When will you star in your next show?

Lance, “I’ve been retired since September 4, 2010, 8 years ago.”

SZ: “It’s time to do something again!”

Lance, “After another 8 or 10 years!”

SZ: “When you are old with a grey beard.”

Lance, “I’ll still be able to do it! People out there, if you want to see my show you have to come this weekend.”

SZ: “When did you begin performing magic in Las Vegas?”

Lance, “I started in 1982 appearing in the Follies Bergère at the Tropicana Hotel, for 9 years. Then opened my own show at the Hacienda in 1991.

SZ: “Magic is still going strong in Las Vegas.”

Lance, “When I got to Las Vegas in ‘82, Siegfried and Roy, opened at the Frontier Hotel. Magic was just starting to take off in Las Vegas. We have some of the greatest magicians in the world.”

SZ: “They are all different, all unique.”
