“Whodunit?”

By Sandy Zimmerman

(Photos shot by Sandy Zimmerman during the live show.)

The laughs began the moment I arrived at the showroom’s doors and continued throughout the

entire evening.

The award winning “Marriage Can Be Murder” dinner theater seems to get better and better since I

saw it many years ago.

Have you ever wanted to be part of a play, to join the cast of characters and find the answer to the

question “Whodunit”?

This is your chance at “Marriage Can Be Murder’s” bright, hilarious, non-stop interactive theater!!!

Look at the person sitting next to you, he or she may be the killer.

The audience doesn’t just sit and have a quiet dinner while watching the play because they are

involved in the show.

“Murder” is interactive theater at its zaniest- people are being stabbed, poisoned, and shot all around

you.

Clues are made available during this murderous evening to help you solve the crime.

A shot rings out . . . a guest screams, salads are served, and the mystery begins!

The cast instructed the audience to ask each other questions to try to find clues to the identity of the

killer.

Who touched the cup of coffee?  What did he say?

It was a great cast with special accolades to Christy Copeland’s stellar performance as a blonde

bimbo.

I enjoyed the way she used her eyes, facial expressions, and body movements to emphasize the

funny dialogue.

Be ready for anything and everything to happen!

The talented actors and actresses work at their roles!

You will receive paper to keep track of the clues as there are

prizes for the person who guesses the murderer.

The sound man helps create the mood for murder and laughs with a soundtrack of music

and special effects.

And this exciting show is topped off with a delicious dinner to satisfy guests

during the evening.

Select from saucy salmon, tender sirloin of beef with mushroom sauce,

or lemon chicken Picatti

WHODUNIT? (Continued)

with a three course dinner of salad, roasted red

potatoes, vegetables,

rolls, dessert, and soft drink.

It all began with the

creators of "Marriage Can Be Murder",

Jayne and Eric Post,

a perfect comedy team.

Jayne and Eric worked together

to build their play into the success

we see here today.

After 15 months at the Showboat Casino,

the "Marriage Can Be Murder" dinner theater

signed a long

term contract at the Egg and I Restaurant.

They moved to the Fitz Hotel in the showroom with a

stage and plenty of room for murder!

The play is rated PG13 so it could be an event for

the whole family.

Guess "whodunit" and join the fun at

"Marriage Can Be Murder" nightly at 6:30 pm,

and they can also

arrange to have a "Murder" performance for your

club or business party.

As a travel writer, I have attended many murder

mystery parties across the U. S. and feel the

"Marriage Can Be Murder" troupe presents the

funniest, most entertaining show of them all!

Murder mystery parties have been popular for

several years including: murder mystery weekends,

murder mystery dinners, murder mystery train rides,

murder mystery cruises, corporate events,

traveling companies, and more!

This genre has captured the imagination of

producers everywhere.

While each production company presents different

plays, they all encompass the same ingredients-

interactive theater as the new medium of today!

The audience had a chance to
dance during the show.

The Fitz Hotel is located at 301 Fremont Street with

free parking at their third street entrance.
